Meet Our Family
Alycia and Steven Ellis own and operate Pet Central, they live in the white house on the north side of property. They have one beautiful daughter, Addyson. They also have four dogs (Roy, Cowboy, Ellie, & Tinka) and two cats (Puppy & Mattie).
In 2006, Steve and Alycia met at the International Academy of Pet Design in Alpharetta, GA. Alycia helped Steve adopt his first dog (Ellie) from the Atlanta Pet Rescue. They quickly became great friends and that was just the beginning. In March of 2009, their combined dream of opening a grooming/boarding business was realized with the much needed assistance from their family. They enjoy their day to day work at Pet Central.

Alycia, from a very young age, has a connection and love for all animals. Alycia’s family could never turn a pet in need away, she has experience caring for all types of animals. Alycia began grooming shelter pets for the Atlanta Pet Rescue, she was certified in pet grooming and has excelled in the craft. Steve particularly loves spending time with dogs, he enjoys their affection and their example of living in the moment, for these reasons he was drawn to pet grooming and was certified. Together they have over 15 years of grooming experience. Steve and Alycia, enjoy opening their home to foster dogs from the pet rescue C.A.W.S. They are passionately involved in the effort to find good homes for the many pets in need.
Steve and Alycia take care of the boarding dogs together everyday. The boarding pets receive care that resembles the love they have for their personal pets .
Steve and Alycia enjoy any activity with their dogs. Alycia also enjoys pottery, working in her garden, and spending time with family. Steve likes to golf, play tennis, and to read.

Our Facility
Pet Central has a custom built state of the art grooming facility designed to give pets the best possible grooming experience.
The groom shop is equipped with:
- Large hydraulic grooming tables
- Walk in shower for extra large dogs
- Force hand dryers
- Professional grooming tub
- Bio-groom shampoo/conditioner products
- Large wire kennels for pets to stay in when not being groomed
- Professional grooming equipment and tools
- Pet walking area, for pet owners when dropping off or picking up
Pet Central’s boarding facility was designed for the safety, comfort, and happiness of the pets.
The boarding facility is equipped with:
- Large secure 10′ runs with solid metal walls for privacy
- Climate control for maximum comfort for the pets
- Two large grass yards for pets to play and walk
- 100 ft. cool misting bar for the pets in summer heat
- Locked secure kennel area with no public access
- 8 ft. high security fencing to deter dogs from climbing
- Large gauge chicken wire below grass which deters from digging
- Custom built metal gap blockers for added security
