How much does a bath and haircut cost? View Answer

What is included in the full groom or bath package? View Answer
Both the full groom and bath include: Nails clipped, Hair in paw pads trimmed, Ears cleaned and plucked, Clean Sanitary Shave, Clean shave between eyes(if needed), Anal glands expressed, Three baths (2 shampoo and 1 conditioner), Directional force drying (by hand only), Complete brush out and de-shed, Bows or Bandana.
The full groom is everything above with the haircut or style of owner’s choice.
Do we need an appointment to have our pet groomed? View Answer

How long does a groom usually take? View Answer
We aim to have each groom or bath done in 3-4 hours. This is just an estimate, we like to call the owner as soon as their pet is ready to be picked up.

How often should I have my pet groomed? View Answer
The recommended time between grooming is 6-8 weeks.
How can you groom my active or aggressive pet? View Answer
Our groomers are experienced and trained to handle all dog breeds and cats. If needed, we have the necessary grooming equipment to fulfill all grooming requirements.
Is it customary to tip my groomer? View Answer
Tips are very appreciated, but not necessary. Tips will be given in full to the Pet Central employee who groomed your pet.
Can I stay and watch my pet be groomed? View Answer
We do not allow pet owners to stay and watch their pets being groomed. Through experience we have learned that pets remain more calm when their owners are not in the building.
Boarding Questions
How much do you charge per night for boarding? View Answer
Our prices for dogs range from $38-44per night. Cats are $ 32 per night. There is no charge for the day of pick-up. A free night is given each 7 continuous nights stayed. There is no additional charge for medication. When possible a free boarding bath & nail trim is given to dogs after 5 night stay.
What does my pet need to stay at Pet Central? View Answer
The only requirement for boarding is proof that your pet is current on all vaccinations. Many pet owners choose to bring their pet’s personal food, dishes, kennels, blankets, toys, and treats. Anything is welcomed to help calm your pet during their stay.
What are the required vaccinations for boarding? View Answer
Rabies, Combo (D/H/L/P), and Bordatella.
Where does my pet stay while in boarding? View Answer
All kennels are heated and air conditioned. Dogs stay in 10′ runs. Cats stay in large feline boarding kennels.
Will my pet stay with other pets? View Answer
All pets stay alone in personal living areas. Pets from same family may stay together. Dogs may have playtime with other dogs in small groups. Pet owners can request their dogs have playtime alone.
When can I pick up or drop off my pet for boarding? View Answer
Pets can be picked-up or dropped off for boarding: Mondays through Saturdays from 8 am – 9 am or 4 pm – 5pm. Monday through Saturday boarding hours are by appointment only. We are not open for pick up or drop off on Sundays.
Can I have my pet groomed or bathed for the day of pick up from boarding? View Answer
Yes. At time of check in ask for availability for grooming on the day of pick-up. A free bath may be given to dogs after a 5 night stay.(Free bath may not given to very large dogs or large dogs that have extremely long coats, all baths are time permitting)
Do you really walk the dogs and play with the cats? Do you even take care of them on the weekend? View Answer
Yes. Dogs have playtime two to three times daily and are walked with dogs of the same size and temperament. Cats have playtime once daily. Caretakers live on the property and maintain pets boarding routine on Sunday and Monday.
